More Space for Light worked with our organisation to share their methodology on understanding, defining, aligning and prioritising complex business and clinical problems.
They ran multiple design gyms with our staff, teaching techniques such as problem tree analysis, empathy and experience mapping and brainstorming. They provided templates and tools to take away and continue using and adopted sessions to train the trainer model to ensure the techniques could be transferred to all current and future staff of the organisation.
More Space’s mastery of a variety of Design Thinking processes, tools and techniques provided us a solid framework to gather information about the challenges, wants and needs of our stakeholders. The output from the sessions have assisted us with our long-term strategic planning.
The team at More Space for Light ensured our large website project was delivered ahead of the deadline and on budget to achieve our objectives. With humour and empathy More Space gave as a really positive experiencing of design sprinting and lots of food for thought in regards to working in this way in the future, including never to underestimate the importance of really defining the problem. At the end of the program we had two prototypes to test with independent users and a very solid platform from which to continue our development work. We also came out with a much clearer understanding of how to best use Design Sprints in our organisation.
More Space For Light worked with us on a state-based project with a high-level of public sensitivity. The team assisted with our digital strategy and the management of existing service providers. Their expertise helped us successfully deliver on milestones and critical project objectives, with strong relationship development and flexibility.
I found it somewhat challenging to trust the process, as I was unfamiliar with design sprints and wasn’t sure how it could work for the product we were building – a new script. There were so many unknowns. However, I had full trust and as a result, I am now a Design Thinking convert!
